Sewtec Recruits Record Number of Apprentices

Since Sewtec relocated to Automation House in 2020 the business has continued to grow to become one of the biggest UK based automation companies.

We champion future talent by working closely with nearby schools, colleges and universities. We offer site visits, work placements, summer work, traineeships, career counselling, CV and interview preparation sessions. We regularly receive a number of requests from students each year expressing an interest in engineering and wanting to visit Automation House to gain a better insight into Sewtec and the world of automation. 

In 2024, we have recruited a record 7 apprentices across various departments including Mechanical and Electrical Fitting, CNC Machining, Fabrication and Purchasing.  These apprentices will gain the skills required to not only work in engineering but within automation and with bespoke machinery.
