New year, new jobs at Sewtec
13 January 2020Sewtec will create more than 70 new highly skilled jobs around Wakefield in the next three years.
Two-thirds of people will be looking for a new job this new year, according to CV Library. For skilled precision engineers based in Yorkshire – as well as people in business support roles like IT, HR and finance – Sewtec has a lot to offer in 2020 and beyond.
We are currently actively recruiting for a range of technical, sales and production roles including senior positions such as production director, head of build and head of quality.
We are also looking for commissioning managers, proposals engineers, controls engineers, technical sales managers, project managers – and due to growing client demand, there are many more vacancies in the pipeline throughout 2020.
Sewtec is growing fast. Last year, we increased our headcount by more than 50 per cent, welcoming an impressive 50 new recruits into the business and taking us up to 132 permanent employees.
As we expand to a 75,000 sq ft facility in Wakefield’s Silkwood Park in March 2020, we will create more than 70 jobs in the local area over the next three years. These exciting new facilities double our available workspace and give us huge capacity to realise the company’s potential.
