Technical Sales Manager (Personal Care)
To support our ongoing growth, Sewtec is looking for a new technical sales manager (personal care) to work as part of our award-winning bespoke automation solutions team.
Reporting into our head of sales, you’ll be responsible for the key account management of existing personal care clients by proactively maintaining contact to sustain high levels of customer service. As technical sales manager, you’ll also actively grow the business by identifying and developing relationships with new prospective personal care customers, and through using your own and your colleagues’ technical knowledge and experience, you’ll help maximise the business opportunities to provide customers with bespoke solutions.
Within this role, you’ll maximise profit through the effective sales proposition by driving customer satisfaction through breathing Sewtec’s ethos of innovation, high quality, value and excellent customer service. Meeting and exceeding all individual and team sale objectives by developing concepts and bespoke personal care automation solutions that matches our existing and new customer requirements will be high on your agenda.
Working with our personal care customers and our wider team, you’ll evaluate engineering change requests, ensure effective communications are understood by any internal and external stakeholders, as well as establish and maintain full responsibility throughout the full sales life cycle. Our technical sales manager (personal care) will also provide and offer guidance for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
You’ll need to have a fine eye for detail, with keeping accurate records of all target accounts, opportunities and quotes, and ensuring financial controls are established in line with budgetary requirements all sitting under your remit.
For this technical sales manager (personal care) position, you’ll need to possess excellent communication skills with the ability to grow and establish key relationships and be able to obtain cooperation from both internal and external stakeholders. Having the ability to negotiate confidently with sound commercial skills combined with the ability to understand market pricing is a must.
The ideal candidate will possess a great understanding of precision engineering principles and bespoke automation solutions and be competent (and confident) in all technical aspects of mechanical engineering – something ideally gained within a similar working environment. Being AutoCAD competent, having understanding of complex technical knowledge with the ability to present data, and having experience of working within a multi–skilled environment are key requirements for the technical sales manager role (pharmaceutical and medical).
With a minimum HNC qualified in relevant electrical or mechanical engineering discipline, you’ll have significant project management and engineering experience.
